Couldn't agree more. Jim Norton in particular brings the characters in Ulysses vividly to life. Nosy Flynn, The Citizen, Simon Dedalus... it's like they're in the room. Also the producers must have put a huge amount of work into marking up the dense unpunctuated passages for reading out loud.

Aw thanks Tim. My kitchen knife accident needed 5 stitches in left index finger after a 4 hour wait in A&E. Now 2weeks later it's already massively better, recovery's just a bit slow because of a mild infection in 2 of the stitches. Probably through changing my own bandages carelessly while on tour!

So very sorry to hear of Chris Rea's passing. A fine artist & genuinely big-hearted human being. We first met in 1974 when he and my first band were managed by Teesside legend John McCoy. By 1994 Chris was an international star but played on my album Love Over Rage as a favour for a penniless mate.
