The Sims 4 is nearing the end of its product cycle, but EA seems to have canceled development on The Sims 5 -- claiming it's to benefit players who have invested in the current game so they don't lose everything in a transition to a new platform. But they're just bringing out the Razzle.
This sort of system -- where creators participate in a market with a "virtual currency" and only see a small percentage of *that* -- is a Razzle. It's a rigged game that dazzles you with numbers and conversion charts to make it all seem legit just long enough for them to get away with your money.
