Hey Alex. Though the page is no longer, is it a mid developer role? Would they consider someone who has only built side projects? I'm trying to get into this market but could only get php roles.
It's funny how I've applied for jr/mid Ruby developer positions, and I was rejected, despite me showcasing projects and a live side project with login credentials: tuicamp.com. I'm wondering if the rejections were automated. I'd gladly accept a mid position.
Why during an interview does our brain behave differently than when not being interviewed? I struggle to answer questions I already know the answer to. Just give me the test. Yes I know what XSS means ffs
For things like this, an email and/or text should have been sent out. But I'm sure meals could be booked in the morning?
And here I am thinking a Ruby developer should know only Ruby. Nope! They should also know JS, TS, Python and phucking Go!!
