Photo: Steve Bannon and Matt Goodwin shaking hands and grinning together. Quote from Steve Bannon: "Darkness is good... Darth Vader. Satan. That's power. It only helps us when they get it wrong. When they're blind to who we are and what we're doing." - Steve Bannon, convicted fraudster, enabler of Jeffrey Epstein, friend of Nigel Farage and Matt Goodwin
Can't help thinking that this photo of Gorton & Denton Reform candidate Matt Goodwin with Steve Bannon - convicted fraudster, close friend & enabler of Jeffrey Epstein, promoter of violence to overturn a US election & admirer of Satan - has not had the coverage it deserves.
Headline: "Pam Bondi Says That If We Prosecute Everybody In The Epstein Files The Whole System Will Collapse"
Kelly cartoon of Sicko at the window saying "Yes...ha ha ha...yes!"
I think my brain has some kind of Mad Magazine/National Lampoon function that clicks on during dark, dismal news cycles and allows me to see the humor in them.
Why didn't anyone tell me that
Then let her run. I want to be led by a single mum from a council estate in Stockport, not a bunch of nonce-enablers.
Greatest crossover episode since Dredd meets Batman: Judgment on Gotham.
Really enjoyed this one!

There was a crowdfunded film about that whole debacle called Boiled Angels: The Trial of Mike Diana back in 2018. I met Mike a couple of times back in the day and he was just your typical shy indie cartoonist. What they did to him was outrageous.

Wasnβt it fabulous? Still deserves to be much more widely talked about and admired.

A fun question. In 5 years time, what looks better? The USβs enormous bet & capex on AI? Or Chinaβs equally enormous bet and capex on renewables?

In huge positive news, the Australian government just ruled out handing the work of their countryβs creatives to AI companies for free π
They resisted the well-funded tech lobby & shut down proposals to upend copyright law.
Other governments should do the same!

Photo shows an A4 page of drawing and notes of vegetation and a robot using a black Pental Colour Brush Pen. I am trying to get back to basics. It's been a weird year for my drawing. It kind of peaked using a computer and I wasn't able to sustain or replicate the results I was getting. With all the Ai shenanigans going on at the minute, my response is to go back to basics and draw freehand with a brush pen. Drawing direct. Using as little guidance from artificial means like a light box or computer software to edit the image.
