Turns out -- Democracy doesn't die in darkness, it shits itself out in plain view.
Turns out -- Democracy doesn't die in darkness, it shits itself out in plain view.
These folks are just getting warmed up.
Mainstream media continues to avoid reporting about rapture theology. Rapture is taught to millions and millions of kids in Sunday school, but I don't think I've ever even seen Chick tracts discussed.
The American military is using a map from a comic book:
"Terror" is an abstract noun.
No military has ever defeated one.
human beings expect the worldβ¦.to be set ablaze by a universal power which they themselves are and over which they are powerless.β
β Dialectic of Enlightenment
Tens of millions of American kids were taught this in Sunday School. They gave us Chick tracts that even came with this handy map for the end times:
Reasons to be alarmed #162. You may recall that in DR STRANGELOVE a crazed US general launched WW3. Well now we have religious nutcases in the US military who want to induce the Rapture / Second Coming. We also increasingly have AI control of weapons, and AI will believe whatever you tell itβ¦
Tens of millions of American kids learned that from Chick tracts in Sunday school.
One false flag at a mall in the US, and itβs on to nukes.
Get those Chick tracts out β Jesus is coming soon.
Trump is the last Boomer President.
And this is how the Summer of Love endsβ¦.
If something breaks, there will be bailouts, as in 2008, 2020, and the banks in 2023.
Americans just can't stop "saving the system."
This madness continues until hyperinflation moves from housing to spinach.
Educated professionals mostly just want to know if this is good or bad for their stock portfolios.
Alas, America doesnβt do class politics.
Race, gender, vaccines β anything but class.
Educated professionals will rush to see if that is bad for their portfolios.
So, you can get a $1,000,000 Boomer Crap Shack for only $1,150,000 in financing costs?!
Rush right in kids: gramps needs to unload his bags.
The ugly reality is that many folks in the Democratic Party have ZERO interest in fighting corporate power.
I learned that the hard way on the last Sanders campaign. We won in California β then got body slammed in South Carolina.
Thatβs the magic of capitalism β it creates needs AND satisfies them.
Just nationalize all royal lands and solve the UK housing problem.
Those of us who had to go into courts, jails, hospitals β things that donβt close β got virtually no government assistance.
At the same time, asset holders got huge cash injections to βsave the system.β
As always, the American system proved to be just the betrayal of labor for capital.
π So true.
I worked the last Sanders campaign in CA (we won) and my brain was blown by the South Carolina primary.
It took me a long time to process that a big chunk of the party really isnβt interested in confronting corporate power.
Sure, but it also pretends to be a party of the people. Itβs drowning in its own contradictions.
Whatβs a dollar worth?
It all boils down to a simple question Democrats refuse to answer: Is it a party of labor or capital (portfolios and βgood billionairesβ)?
Since it wonβt answer that question; the party can never be more than a temporary respite on the slide to totalitarianism.
Democrats still donβt know if they are a party of labor or capital (stock portfolios and βgoodβ billionaires).
Until that is resolved, most Americans (who have very little) will continue to be largely uninterested.
Everything in America is about making the stock market go up. There isn't any other national policy.
And they really have nothing to fear.
The American mind is complete entrained to capitalist realism.
Is it a party of the people (labor) or capital (portfolios)?
As is, the party can present no meaningful resistance to fascism.
The middle class is the deluded part of the working class.
America as a money-death cult.
