MAAAAAAAAAAANNNNN, don't want to get my hopes up too much but things are setting up nicely for Hoshoryu this basho.
Good 2-0 start while both his main rivals Onosato (0-2) and Aonishiki (1-1) have taken losses. Obviously still really early, but can't ask for a better start.
...Thus Hoshoryu gets a yusho and his haters shut the fuck up, but Aonishiki also has a hell of an equivalent performance and gets promoted to yokozuna
My delusional hope for how the basho ends:
Hoshoryu is 14-1. His one loss is to Aonishiki.
Aonishiki is 14-1. His one loss is to anyone except Onosato - he beats Onosato but loses to someone else.
They go to a play off. Hoshoryu wins the play off.

Aging is weird. I've always been told I look young for my age, even up to now. I can't figure it out. My skincare routine is non existent, I always forget my sunscreen and I fry like a lobster, I used to smoke a pack a day, I used to drink like a fish (although I did quit both more than 10 yrs ago)
