Hey, yess! I agree, iโm taking my time, and i feel like itโs more like acquiring skills to treat your body better instead of forcing myself to hunger for a short period of time. Itโs not sustainable, i tried it before and failed miserably. But iโm confident now, slow but steady is the key
Week 9 - So far iโve lost 7.7kg / ~17lbs

Iโm at 135.6kg today. The plateau was broken, the re-feed day was really successful, it flushed a lot of water out of my system. I was at 134.8kg for a day, but some water came back. Iโm below 300lbs now also!

8 Gigs of RAM is not enough for a modern computer. Hell, even 16 gigs is a struggle sometimes. Modern apps just use so much memory, Discord alone takes a gig. The paging file will work overtime and that will slowly kill your SSD. The new MacBook Neo base model isnโt worth it tbh.. but man is it sexy
Also for those interested, Kit Fix-it is still in development. Weโre doing some prototype planning and asset creation. Thereโs a redesign for Kit coming and i hope you like it! The goal is a playable narrative + repair game demo sometime this year.

Iโm at 136.2kg today - doesnโt feel like a lot but itโs likely cortisol and water storage. Iโll try a re-feed day (high carb, low fat) to reset my metabolism. It should flush out the excess water. Will keep you updated.

Week 7 - So far iโve lost 6.8kg / 15lbs

Iโm at 136.5kg right now. I walked 10k+ steps every day last week (once 20k steps) + 2 gym sessions. My legs feel light and itโs so nice to walk. By the end of the year i really wanna get a bike..
Week 6 - So far iโve lost 6.3kg / ~14lbs

Iโm now at 137kg. A lot of interesting changes have been happening. My blood pressure normalized, resting heart rate is now often at 65-75 and in general i feel like relaxing is much more effective.

Whatโs definitely different to before is that i finally realize how weight loss is a truly long and complex process for the body. It stores water to slow down change. Itโs a signal to say โiโm not ready yetโ. You need you give it time and patience. I truly believe that.
From what iโve read, this is totally normal. Itโs glycogen (โfuelโ for your muscles) from eating carbs, which needs water to be stored. And water is needed for recovery after exercise. This flushes out in a few days.
Stick to the calorie counting, you will lose weight. The data shows the truth.
Hereโs the evidence to prove it! Iโve been working out, and yet stagnated or even gained weight.
Look at the information from my scale, as the weight dropped, body fat still went down, itโs just stored water and muscle weight.
Be suspicious of rapid weight gain. Only calories count for fat loss.
I remember posting about this 3 years ago when the iPad Pro was the only option, and then someone asked me โwhy would anyone ever need that??โ and XP Pen liked that reply like โyeah bruhhh we would never make thatโ well would you LOOK AT THAT, XP Pen made a 165hz tablet, and of course i bought it ๐ญ
I may or may not have bought a new xp pen 24โ 165hz display graphics tablet for a really good deal (25% off retail) ๐
Finally a decent upgrade for my setup, and a properly calibrated color space..
I hope to get to 120kg by the end of summer. Itโs a tight schedule. Iโd have to lose 17.6kg till August, thatโs 2.5kg a month (0.5kg a week). At this pace i could make it, but it could also slow down and hit plateau for a long time, itโs not guaranteed to be easy going. But below 130kg is possible!
Week 5 - So far iโve lost 5.7kg / ~12lbs
Iโm now at 137.6kg. Although water weight might be high again, i canโt tell. The first month is over and i think itโs tremendous progress so far. Iโm still going to the gym twice a week, still eating 1500-1800 calories. Itโs a good time.

Iโm now at 138.1kg. I always felt like the โmarathonโ only truly began once i passed 140kg. But every bit matters. Iโm not noticing a change in physique yet but damn am i excited for it! Belly fat, your days are numbered.

From my starting weight of 143.3kg iโm now at 139.7kg, i believe at least 0.5kg is water weight. Water deposits kind of make it hard to capture actual progress.
I feel great, my sleep has been refreshing again for ages.

Sorry for this rant but itโs been happening so often recently that i felt the need to say something. Tl;dr You can and will improve if you keep at it. Art builds identity over time. AI kills that process, and that will in return only hurt you as an artist.
And i always think while AI does fill the publicโs aesthetic criteria, if you do use it, itโs not your artwork, because you havenโt lived through this struggle. Itโs plain and simple. If you havenโt noticed a lot of AI art just ends up looking the same anyways. Who are they trying to fool?
And i thought about this struggle, whether itโs not coming up with anything to draw, or not having the practical skills to draw something. Itโs a process, you have to find your own way to improve on it, nobody tells you how, and that builds your identity, your style.
Hereโs a statement for everyone that i have never and will never use AI to draw or assist with my artwork in any way. Thatsโs a promise. I started drawing at a very young age, my first digital artworks were printer-scanned then colored on gimp at age 11. The struggle is the best part of art.
I expect this week to continue with no changes. 2 times a week i do workout in a gym, my goal is a calorie deficit either with less food or with exercising, no special limitation on macros, just emphasizing on proteins a little more. Thatโs the goal, i donโt want restriction but mindfulness on food.
Week 2 - So far iโve lost 3kg / ~6.6lbs.
40kg / 89lbs to go.
I expect it to be mostly water weight, though iโm immediately enjoying all of the benefits. My resting heart rate went down from 90-100 to 70-80. I eat healthier, i have more energy throughout the day, stress levels are low.

Week 1 - Starting a diet once again (attempt 5, yay), i will post updates on here not expecting engagement, but to keep myself accountable. My goal is losing roughly 45kg or 100lbs till the end of the year. Target is a 500+ kcal deficit + interval fasting. #weightloss
I feel like you really understand your own art style and the inspiration for it once you explore your own thoughts, and eventually become obsessed with the ideas that come up. And the easiest way to do this is boredom, it forces us to entertain ourselves with our own thoughts. No phones, music, etc.
