Meanwhile over at Labour - just getting on with mending the economy…..
Excellent news.
Good news this morning: inflation fell to 3.0% in January, down from 3.4% in December.
This was in line with expectations, with the Bank of England last month suggesting it will continue to fall in future months towards the 2% target - perhaps as soon as April.
He’s getting a lot of praise right now for his foreign policy AND the economic recovery. That IS well-deserved. And it’s why they have pushed ahead of Reform to win the GE at Ladbrokes.
Can we all get this information correct in our heads:
+ Labour have not made any cuts to PIP eligibility and, as of now NONE are planned.
+ Labour also was NEVER looking at cutting the rates of PIP someone can get. In fact, rates are actually increasing with inflation.

What the are doing to Starmer is what they did to Corbyn - only more so.
I just stopped listening to @mrjamesob.bsky.social too. They have taken leave of their senses. The only one I can stand is @therestispolitics
Along with many others I have stopped watching the news. It has become so distorted and unbalanced and frankly, nauseating in its sycophancy towards the slug F*rage.
He is everywhere and I am sick of it.
Petition to get rid of Chris Mason nearly at 1800 signatures- please sign if you haven't
c.org/KBy4fbbjm7
All those people telling me Labour were doing nothing to support Port Talbot through the steel works rebuilding are all very quiet now.
Here we have ANOTHER announcement, this time of a £11m Economic Growth and Investment Fund to support companies who offer skilled, well-paid jobs & help them grow.
Petition to replace BBC weasel Chris Mason - with anything really...
c.org/8S5p4BCssm
Gotta feel sorry for Chris Mason. People starting mean petitions to replace him when he's just trying to do his job as a right-wing gossip columnist spouting utterly opinionated bollox for a paltry £270 k pa
I rest my case 💁♀️
This so probably why you have no friends.
TV. They've just reinvented TV.
What a fucking horrible thing to say about a thoroughly decent person. People have lost their ever loving minds.
The UK government’s latest onshore-wind and solar auction helps it to make headway on clean-grid plans that it says will bring down bills.
Same. I’ve stopped listening. I don’t understand- I think Covid has done a cognitive number on some people. It’s insanity.
Children to get swifter justice thanks to renewed Victims’ Code
The Labour government will work with children to create the first ever child-friendly version of the Victims' Code, whilst also strengthening the code to help very victim get swifter justice & ensure child victims are better supported.
The idea that Starmer's woes will result in an early General Election is bollocks.
Badenoch and Farage can't be that stupid, surely.
Fuck me you’re a ‘professor’ too lol.
Starmer had ONE VOTE OUT OF TEN.
Not so fast. Starmer is still polling well ahead of Farage and people would prefer a Labour coalition government to a Reform one. Very telling.
Liz Kendall speaking in the House of Commons now: "it is not just an affront to decent society; it is illegal ... this is child sexual abuse"
"It is insulting to victims to say: you can still have this service if you are willing to pay. It is monetising abuse"
I’m not sure about this Warren. It is likely that Labour are making Brexit work without having to rejoin. If we have the economy and freedom-ish of movement - do we need to rejoin? We could end up with a Norway+ style deal. Will the EU and NATO even survive a post Trump and Putin era?
