Kuiper, now at 102 satellites. A lot more to go, but in the triple digit club!
If you're taking a cert or other type of exam, here's a cheat: the people that create the answers are always more pedantic about the right answer than the wrong answers. If you choose the longest answer to a multiple choice question, you'll be right about 75% of the time.
Kuiper's second launch today: www.ulalaunch.com/missions/nex...
Video of the 27 Kuiper satellites dispensing over about 15 minutes. Space is neat. www.linkedin.com/posts/rajeev...
Try, Try Again: Kuiper KA-01 launch, hopefully today (4pm PST, 7PM EST): nextspaceflight.com/launches/det...
Stay tuned for the next Kuiper launch window, it won't be tomorrow after all.
Scrub. There's another launch window tomorrow, stay tuned.
Live stream just started, weather officer says clouds may clear by 8pm EST but winds look to be the larger risk: www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8Xs...
Watching the Kuiper launch here: www.ulalaunch.com/missions/nex...
Looks like 20% chance of launch. There's another window tomorrow if the weather doesn't play nice.
Here's a new marketing video for Kuiper, it includes some details of the manufacturing and engineering. Space engineering is neat, and the folks in the video are the real people building it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBhs.... (It is a little dramatic, I suppose space is dramatic as well.)
Kuiper has a launch date for our first satellites - April 9th (no earlier than) www.ulalaunch.com/missions/nex...
Most days at Amazon: Please read this 6+ page dense document and comprehend it in 30m, 2-3x a day.
Other days at Amazon: Please watch this 2+ hour video, which should be a 2 page document, and click 50+ times.
There's _one_ training exception and it's awesome to read + test instead.
So as of this morning all of the vehicles Project Kuiper will use to launch our constellation have gone to orbit:
β
Ariane 6 (last year)
β
Vulcan/Centaur (last year)
β
Atlas V
β
Falcon 9
β
New Glenn (this morning)
We were at 2/5 last year this time, it's enormous progress for heavy launch vehicles.
You know Sheryl Sandbergβs famous line: βIf youβre offered a seat on a rocket ship, donβt ask which seat, just get onβ?
Do you know who originally said that?
It was CHRISTA MCAULIFFE.
Who died in the Challenger explosion.
In case youβre wondering whether to trust rhetoric that comes out of Meta.
Ok, here is an updated version of my space policy starter pack.
Let's make #BlueSpace the best platform for space news, space econ and space law discussions.

With the 6th Circuit's network neutrality decision today, the courts have now cycled through every combination of "The Telecommunications Act of 1996 [can|must] be read to treat broadband Internet as [an information service|a telecommunications service]."

Love me some chaos racks. Honestly the most surprising part is they didn't use the previous gen servers instead of coke cans. Something, something, gray market.
I bought a new dryer for $600 and they wanted another $300 for the stand. I spent $40 on wood and paint instead, similar energy.

I host a BDSM party every year.

I usually have to invite people two years in a row because the no-show rate for first time BDSM invites is surprisingly high.
I packed gym clothes on a work trip and used them.
You too, can achieve this feat by attempting it 40 times followed by collecting an untold amount of personal shame in Vegas the week prior.
Shout out to any Blue Origin folks racing through the holidays trying to make this happen: spacenews.com/blue-origin-...

Product managers, if you're interested in building a new ISP from scratch reach out. Amazon's Project Kuiper is hiring a mix of program and technical product managers to start building. Seattle/DC preferred. π°οΈπ
Thoughts on the UHC murder:
1. Moral superiority that supports murder is a slippery slope.
2. While that superiority is dangerous, uprisings have occasionally created better fairness.
3. Some of those rebellious have been net negative.
4. I really wish this had happened closer to Halloween.
