However, as much as I respect his taste and knowledge, I cannot co-sign this take on the Saturn vs the N64. Space Station Silicon Valley radicalised me. Thereβs no way back from that.

This is especially nice to hear, given how nervous I was about our chat. Rob is a certified deep and analytical thinker about video games, and Iβm just some (unqualified!) putz on the internet, so itβs a testament to his good and generous nature that he humoured my nonsense with such grace.
I wear a yellow beanie every day, so maybe thatβs why the game vibed with me so much π
I played through it on Steam (thanks @goodgamelobby.bsky.social!) and despite an irrational aversion to turn based combat, really dug it. (Beanie) Hats off, @heavylunchco.bsky.social π·
This is something thatβs been largely overlooked in the coverage of this game. A 2 person dev team, who did *everything*, on this fun, funny and innovative twist on a genre Iβm mostly allergic to.

Switch players! Γoo is finally out of PC jail. Itβs an excellent puzzle platformer that teaches you how to play it in the most subtle ways, and packs just a few simple mechanics with a million creative possibilities. You should get it now.

If you like the look of @drinkboxstudios.com' Blighted, you *could* play Guacamelee, but your better bet is Nobody Saves The World.
Always been interested in Minishoot' Adventures but that apostrophe means I just can't
I think it first popped up in some showcases (and maybe a Direct?) well over a year ago, but my brain doesn't recognise time accurately anymore so who knows. Never played the original. Recommend?
Moonlighter 2: This time it's Bastion
Played Denshattack during Next Fest and it's so good that this Direct is already an 11/10
So is *this* one PokΓ©monβs Breath of the Wild?
Nice! Neha was great on @underplayedpod.bsky.social. Looking forward to this.

You need to play it on a cheaper controller to lessen the heartbreak when you hurl it out the window
(Complimentary, this game is great)
Literally came across this band for the first time this morning thanks to a YouTube rec and oh yes they rip
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and oops there goes 40 hours of my life
