Updated the web DID feed to remove what appears to be another relay. Also hi I'm not dead I just disappear and reappear whenever it's convenient for me :))
Just as some ISPs don't have IPv4 addresses, others (like mine) don't have IPv6, so it'd require workarounds either way.
Oops, web:did feed broke. Fixed now though!
TypeScript code from the "Bring Back Duo" website. const Landing = () => { // NOON EST, 2025-2-23 (https://www.epochconverter.com/) // This ALSO shows in DeadDuoLeaderboardManager.kt const endTimeSecondsSinceEpoch = 1740416400; const endTime = new Date(endTimeSecondsSinceEpoch * 1000);
They hid it on the website, but forgot to hide their source maps...
Weekly "what #DnB have I been listening to" #4
Absolutely love the bassline on this banger!

If anyone knows a thing or two about PHY IP cores and recognizes it from the offsets/values/routines used for initialization, please shoot me a DM! It would be very cool to solve this mystery! The H616 and A523 use very similar PHYs, so would be cool to solve this mystery

Finally finished writing up my blog post on reverse engineering DRAM initialization code. I'm no expert, but it seems like nobody really is in this space :))

Weekly "what #DnB have I been listening to" #3
Missed a few weeks, oops! But don't worry, I'll make up for it! I have a neurofunk banger here that I found while digging into songs I hadn't heard for a long time.
Magnetude - Goodbye (feat. Receptor)

Squid Game S2 was pretty good IMO, but the ending was such an OBVIOUS cockblock to build suspense for S3. Ah well, hopefully that'll come out alongside HTSDOF S4
Oh, it's a basketball team, makes sense. Was really confused why everyone would be talking about chicken nuggets and was concocting a head canon where there's massive McDonalds controversy
I disappeared for a few weeks, and now I come back to see that one of the trending keywords is "Nuggets"?
Hopefully the bed's level enough HAHA
Finally, got open-source custom firmware running on my Q1P! Happy to have my best friend Mainsail again :)
You're telling me the car guy has body smarts? I could never
@koopaz.epochal.quest No clue when Bsky fixed it, but I can mention you now! Yay!
Saw others on the TL doing this; not at all surprised by my results.
The question is, what will you stream?
Your work still means something, no matter what happens. Whether that's knowledge, friends, or knowing you made something cool and did your best, you'll have something that will stick with you well into the future. So none of it has been for nothing IMO
Kinda want to build a super small 3D printer for shits and giggles. Something alluring about the idea of making a tiny RepRap and getting hands-on with some mechatronics
Only so many vacation days in a year :)
Definitely planning to be a little less stingy about taking PTO though next year; burnout is a real shitty experience HAHA
Really need to take vacation time more; I feel so free and relaxed when I don't have to worry about the following week of work (and can sleep in the day before Friday night drinks with the homies)
Neurofunk is DnB too, so I'll mention this one too. Asked r/DnB for song recs few months ago and actually got a banger!
Koan Sound - Hydroplane

I had run into this one, or one of Alora's other songs from Discover Weekly months ago, but I still love this. Mentally stimulating but also chill; I really like it!

Find salary averages for similar positions where you live, and pick a number on the lower end of that
If carbonated lemonade can be called "sparkling lemonade", why don't we call orange soda "sparkling orangeade"?
Preteen: "I wanna be cool and run something I shouldn't on school computers"
Teen: "I want to mess with cheap VPSs, and they only offer Linux"
Older teen: "Sick of Windows overhead when writing code; Linux is more lightweight?"
Finally, progress! Ends of smaller bridges are still a bit rough, but I think that might be either accel or pressure advance; not entirely sure
Hating TPU so far; it REALLY hates the concept of bridging. Still tweaking away to see if I can get a single good result; hopefully this'll be the one...
