Metal Eden Review Take me back to Eden

My review for Metal Eden went up overnight. I had fun with it, but I found it was overall uninspired compared to some of its stellar competition.

You can see this in Destiny 2, whose content is mostly cheap, shallow, pointless, and, in the case of D2's episodic/seasonal content, built to be removed. Treating games the way Truman describes it results in a game that feels cynical and completely devoid of passion.

Hmm, I'm glad that I have moved past my phase of being against graphs, using as few words as possible, because the ease of which I would be misconstrued is very high...

I wish this was the homerun it should have been. Parsons was/is a bucket of slime. However, who is stepping up in his place isn't much better.

I would highly rec9mmend checking out VOID/BREAKER's early access, too. It's also one of the best feeling roguelites I've played. Should hopefully hit 1.0 and release for consoles some time next year.

Monster Hunter Wilds is bloody awesome but hooo boy they absolutely dropped the ball with the PC port. I'm glad that my PC can mostly stay above 60, but i feel for thise whose PC meets the requirements and can only have stable/playable frames with 🤢🤢 framegen 🤢🤢

There are more for sure, but you gotta start small

I hope Fordussy becomes the metrics to measure Harrison Ford's acting chops in each role he does from now on.

I wish people would understand that each game has different goals and while there can be a lot of overlap, that doesn't mean a 1:1 comparison is necessary or fair to games.
