Of course! I picked up my own copy :D Congratulations on the launch - I'm so happy for you!
My friend poured his heart and soul into this absolutely incredible game - I implore you all to check it out! There's a demo too if you want to try before you buy.
Fantastic story, gameplay feels excellent - and c'mon. We gotta support indies. :)
This is gonna be something special - can't wait to check it out!
Thank you so much Jess! You lovely folks make it possible :)
A year of being self employed, down ๐ช
Jumping from working for someone else to working for myself was scary. Very grateful I'm able to make a living via my Verified Creations for Bethesda games. Very grateful for all the support. Got exciting things coming!
You know what allows ICs to get more work done? Not wasting half their day in meetings.
Don't get me wrong - every donation is hugely appreciated and I'm forever grateful for each one; but the amount of people who say "I'd rather donate to the modder!" rarely actually do so.
I'm lucky enough to have two of the most popular quest mods for Fallout 4, and across the 8 and 2 years (respectively) they've been out, the total donation amount received has been less than one month's average office salary.
This supposed 'pro-consumer' narrative actually works against indie & aspiring game dev.
As somebody who "worked" as part of the modding team behind one of, if not the, largest Skyrim mods (which actually released) and knows A LOT of modders and game developers:
Paid mods are a good thing.
I'm looking forward to this :D
Thank you! I've got a few things in the works for Starfield that need a bit more time in the oven, but I'm excited to get em out there!
Pet project for the past few days - I've been learning C# by creating a toolkit that's able to generate full builds of my mods for Bethesda games! Just about got it feature complete for Fallout 4 - going to start adding Skyrim and Starfield functionality :D
One game I worked on can't even be bought anymore, and another was widely regarded as the worst game of the year ๐
I had to install Perforce today for a freelance job I'm doing and the immediate nausea I got opening the client ๐
I really really want to make it happen - hopefully soon enough!
The vibes here are 10/10
If anyone who reviews Verified Creations is interested in taking a look at Daniel, let me know! Always happy to send review copies. :)
Really proud of this one. My Fallout 4 companion's now live on the Creations store! Check out the trailer - you wouldn't believe the blood, sweat and tears what went into putting him together. ๐
I picked up a used Xbox One to do some mod testing and now my desk is a disaster
I cannot overstate how much I love that the main menu in Outer Worlds 2 is just a conversation with Moon Man and he comments on the state of your game. 10/10
Then use the developer menu (instructions here: wiki.otellinomods.com/AmericaRisin...) to skip the quests.
Sorry ๐ญ
Hey! I'm sorry about that - the stuttering comes from the Fallout 4 next gen update... I'm hoping the update on November 10th fixes it. Until then there is a workaround but it's not great. You'll need to go back to a save before going to the Oil Rig, and
Check out my next project - a verified creation for Fallout 4! Coming soon :D
The upside of Microsoft forgetting how to make any sort of desirable operating system is I get to have cosy nights in using my HTPC that is now happily running Bazzite, and it works so well - it plays games with no nonsense at all
Heck yeah haha
That is so cool! Congratulations my friend :)
Yeah I get it, it's just nice seeing the folks still there making a stand
Go get 'em. ๐ช
That's random but I dig it
Is... Is that Yugoslavia
