I've heard mixed opinions...
Some say this agate looks like a papaya? I've heard kiwi? Peach? π₯ππ€·ββοΈ

We are so lucky to store our collection and showcase our exhibits in these GORGEOUS buildings! Wow.
Our Dorothy the elasmosaurus was named after Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz... cause they both came from Kansas!
Our OmniGlobe is the best way to view Earth, the moon, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, or even the Sun without ever leaving campus.Β

Dorothy the Elasmosaurus breathes air, lives in water, and has 72 neck bones. Well, had.Β
Now, she rocks π
Every rock in our museum has a wild backstory.
Some were born in volcanoes. Some were buried for billions of years.
Some⦠were decorative paperweights.
Our fossilized femur? You can touch it, just donβt try to take it home.
Itβs 73 million years old, and weβre very attached.
Some fossils are casts, some are molds, some are poop.
Yes, thereβs a scientific word for fossilized poop. Itβs coprolite.
(We know. We giggle too.)
Our oceanography exhibit explains anglerfish romance: the male literally fuses into the femaleβs body.
Itβsβ¦ commitment.
Your phone is basically a portable mine β gold, copper, lithium, indiumβ¦ all in your pocket.
And yes, thatβs why we have a whole case on e-waste.
