- an encounter one of my observers responded to: ICE swarmed a home with multiple vehicles and over a dozen agents in an attempt to abduct an entire family
- they were aggressive with LOs and deployed chemical agents

if you or anyone with direct documentation of this is able to reach out to Ilhan Omar’s office, they’re requesting info on ICE directly going against agreements made after the “draw down” which includes “no longer [staging] their activities near schools, hospitals, or places of worship”!

My daughter reported that the ICE presence outside her school during recess last week involved ICE officers sitting IN AN ICE CREAM TRUCK. And this wasn't kids misinterpreting. We had an email from the school the day it happened; we just didn't get the ice cream detail in the email.

It is, I think, darkly illustrative of ICE’s incompetencies and casual cruelties that they would look around a school in an ice cream truck. In March. In Minnesota.

i had to stop doing these daily because it was just the same shit every single day, but here are some lows from today:

- we believe they are posing as county sheriffs
- being actively aided by MPD
- hired bounty hunters who drew weapons on LOs & attempted to hit them with a vehicle

Let how exhausted I look here give you a window into how hard mutual aid organizers have been pushing to keep our neighbors safe and housed when no one else will. Please write to your councilmembers and the mayor and urge them to pass Pause Evictions, Save Lives!

I have been told bounty hunters are now detaining observers. They have zero authority to detain anyone and the MPD better do something before someone with a permit puts one of these fuckers down.

MPD assisted a group of heavily armed bounty hunters who abducted a neighbor today into their fake plumbers van. Bounty hunters pointed weapons at observers both at the abduction site and at Hennepin County Jail downtown. MPD told observers to let the bounty hunters do their job.

i don’t know how notifications work either but these are AWESOME!
