Learn your local history, thinking about the present and future. Atlases, maps, stories. What do you want, what is missing? Fan folk are already well equipped to do this kind of thinking! Do a fan fiction of the narrative of your town, Evan brainstorms.
Paraphrasing: We need thinkers, dreamers, nerds! That is what we need for every challenge.
Talking about using a Zombie Apocalypse simulation to uncover how people can prepare their community in advance of calamities, forming coalitions in advance, rather than being caught off guard.
