We already had very high quality tools for that as well, they are called transpilers and compatibility shims.

I am serious when I say, LLMs will *never* do anything new. They are simply reproducing and rearranging sequences that are already in their training data.

Templates, libraries, and autocompleting code have already been here for less resources. If LLMs didnt make stuff up at such a high rate I would give them more credit but…
