That’s a perfect opportunity to post some fresh thirst!
Friends from Minneapolis reporting to me that things are at the point where folks are being hidden in other people's houses and we are in the "again" part of "never again" which the "never" was supposed to preclude
I like to think he and Sir Ian would
be rolling up to brunch with hot trade and then hot gossip with Judi and Maggie.
I hope lawyers, secretaries of state, and state attorneys general are preparing for what’s coming.
I'm Kat Abughazaleh and I approve this message.
MINNESOTA — Mom goes outside to warm up her car, ICE grabs her: "Please, my car kids are all alone in the house!”
So nothing has changed and Homan was just to put a new face on the cruelty, got it
(H/T longtimehistory)
As Republican Senators pitch the idea of having Trump issue executive orders to dial down ICE in exchange for funding DHS, let's all be very clear: AN EXECUTIVE ORDER IS NOT THE LAW. (1/x)
A lot of Dems are going to take Bovino and Noem being fired as the finish line, and it's very important to make it clear to them that it is a starting line
"He was protesting,"
"She moved her car."
Any excuse to follow their Fuhrer's orders.
Can we please stop treating CEO's as the beacons of society?
He went to the god damn Melania screening that night.
He has no leg to stand on here.
Uh. So ICE just technically tried to invade Ecuador. Cool new international incident dropping.
This shit reminds me of the photos out of Abu Ghraib.
The Atlantic finally catching up with what some of us have been saying for *years*
It doesn't matter what the Constitution says. If the government can execute you on the street or in your own home on a whim, you have no rights. None.
Screenshot of a tweet from Paul Graham "If someone had predicted before the last election that if Trump won, federal officers would be shooting Americans in the streets, he'd have been dismissed as an alarmist."
We did predict it. And we were called alarmist.
DHS can and will never be run by a Sicko fan.
The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”
That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.
A lot of Dr. Frankenstein’s regretting their monster all the sudden.
ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives.
We can't allow ourselves to look away from this cruelty. Abolish ICE.
Dawg
lmao, neighborhood Signal chat full of people who would otherwise be considered “wine moms” has turned against the New York Times for their coverage of what’s happening
The thirst traps accentuate the legal analysis.
Holy shit.
Renee Good was alive when the bystander physician asked to check her pulse. She was alive when ICE refused to let him help. She was alive when they told him “I don’t care.”

The thing is, some people can make mistakes, get things wrong, be careless, etc. But that’s not what Jennings did here. Jennings knowingly, purposefully and intentionally lied to utterly distort what was said, which CNN pays him to do every day. CNN is the enabler of this.
He’s timing it for the weekend for maximum chaos.
