Assuming that Donald Trump is not exactly a big history buff, has anybody ever mentioned to him that the last time the US attempted to annex Canada it ended with us burning down the White House?
This is one of the things I find the most perplexing about Trump.
My theory is there kid of mechanism where people only register when Trump lashes out against a different group but not their own.
What I genuinely don’t understand is how Trump can insult vast groups of voters (women, Muslims, veterans, Blacks, ppl /w disabilities, Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, etc), but Democrats are perceived as being condescending. Trump did the same in 2016, but “deplorables” supposedly sunk Hillary 🧵
