I mean it’s certainly a good sign he would crush the assignment!

Right? They have *conclusive proof* it’s not a money train, and relaunching it these days? Post-Whedon ostracism and relaunching a Space Confederate show *now*? Bonkers

H.R. 7661 would harm so many publishers, authors, and readers. Only the smallest sliver of human experience would make it onto shelves. If you think kids deserve the world, you are against this bill - please read this article and call your reps.

Not only do I not think they should bring Firefly back to tv but it is not a great sign for the Regurgitation economy Hollywood is running on that they’re down to shows that failed to get a second half of their first season

Nor detectives! Which is weird because at least one of them was an engineer which in a certain level requires the same kind of thinking

I am not promoting this *nearly enough* thanks to the crushing workload of actually MAKING the book, but!

We’re making a romcom! If you like queer characters, relationship friction, and as much humour as we could cram in, maybe you should read the preview at the link, and possibly even preorder?

Look if you are so bad at interrogating your circumstances that you go for A DECADE without asking EXTREMELY BASIC QUESTIONS about why you are in the shit you might belong there

Tonight’s DS9 episode with @aplante.com was the one on the Misery Planet, devoid of technology. I’ve turned a corner on that society since the last time I watched, they all deserved to be stranded there

(Beartato and Reginald, in a museum, gaze upon the Mona Lisa)

BEARTATO: There it is. The Mona Lisa. The most famous painting in history.
REGINALD: Wow! What's it do?

BEARTATO: It... what?
REGINALD: Why's it famous? What's it do?

(Beartato thinks.)

BEARTATO: I don't know.

REGINALD (to nearly museum employee): Excuse me! Sir? What's it do?

EMPLOYEE: You're the first person to ask! Watch this!

(The employee yanks a pull-string. Mona Lisa's eyes spin around and her mouth opens like a puppet)
MONA LISA: Honk honk! Honk honk!

(Everyone is delighted. This is true art.)

Laser Joan and the Rayguns A 24 pg one shot adventure comic about an all-female rock band collecting the three stories that originally ran in DARK HORSE PRESENTS.

We're almost at 100 backers for Laser Joan & the Rayguns. Can you push us over that edge? Toss us off a cliff! You know you want to! Also you can get a comic about a rock band of spies, as they navigate fame, and the future, where they may not even be together anymore.

Dear Shabana,
I notice today that you referred to me in your speech on immigration at the IPPR think tank.
You said: “A party leader should not be on the beaches of France encouraging people to
make a perilous crossing on small boats.”
I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised especially after the hateful Labour campaign in Gorton
and Denton, but this is just the latest in a string of lies peddled by a discredited Government
who intentionally fan the flames of racism and division.
When I went to Calais, I was not there to encourage people to travel to the UK. I was there
to see at first hand the suffering your Government and successive Governments have done
in demonising migrants in a pathetic bid to pander to the base instincts of Reform and the
flawed strategy of Morgan McSweeney.
As you will know, if you even bothered to research my visit instead of taking Reform talking
points, I was there to witness the brutality of families living in tents in freezing temperatures. I
filled water tanks and picked up litter.
What that visit did do is confirm my belief that if we are to smash the boat gangs and stop
the boats, we need to offer safer and managed routes for migrants to come to this country.
Showing compassion as a politician is not a crime. In fact, we need to see much more of it.
It reminded me of a young MP who in October 2015 spent three days in Lesbos helping
migrants fleeing war-torn Syria. She posted videos on X, talked about handing out water and
croissants to refugees and food parcels.
When she returned to the UK, she wrote a very moving piece in the New Statesman. She
said “we have to work with our European partners and create new, safe, and legal routes for
refugees to get to Europe. We cannot abandon them to their fate, left as prey for smugglers
whilst risking death on the seas.”
She said “maybe we can make ourselves feel better by saying no-one is making them get on
the boats. And again, the Home Secretary is not entirely wrong when …

Dear Shabana,

Let's clear some things up around migration and remember we're talking about people's lives.
