Personal projects have been sour dough, some dashboards for tracking leetcode with friends, getting just good enough with f360 to buy a space mouse, wardriving and upgrading my home network/server

I finally got my (2007) Xterra back from the shop w new eng and so far I am really jealous of the tech I have grown accustomed from cars in 2025. I’ll make a diff thread about my thoughts on things I have added vs things I am still working on later

I designed a couple side hustles of varying degrees of success (so far). Idk how much of them I want to share and none of it was quit your day job money. Aiming for 1 a month with a clear goal was a good target.

I was promoted to Sr SWE and started on [a cool project] at work. The head dev has already left the team which was almost certainly more of a responsibility bump than the promotion alone. Over all a positive outcome imo
