We have an all company offsite coming up and I just learned that the company is providing www.milkstork.com services to our colleagues who are nursing.
OMG I love it here at #Temporal!

Ugh. Serious yak-shaving going on right now. π
Well, at least the AI (Gemini) is admitting it might not know π
"...you can likely switch between these options..."
when I asked about whether #veed would allow me to switch on and off screen sharing in the middle of recording.
Programming agentic AI systems really is programming in natural language. So damn cool!
I am sitting on a BART train and it makes my heart so happy. In the Pivotal days, this was a regular thing. Those were good times! β€οΈ
Hey Mama Earth, some kind of cruel April Foolβs joke?
Itβs actually quite lovely.
Roughly 6 weeks in on the new gig and a first in my career. Our CEO, Samar, just spent an hour with all of us new folks talking about culture. The warmth and humility that he brought to the meeting, as he does every day,... amazing!

Callout to @github.com doing the right thing. I had signed up for Copilot before it was free for individuals and just went in to cancel if I had to. Found that my plan had been updated to "free". Thank you Github!
I am (re) reading the Platform Engineering Maturity Model and love this statement:
"as in any #socio-technical system these aspects are complex and interrelated."
I made it a hashtag because, well, I think it should be!

Right?!
"developers have an endpoint available for their application within a few minutes" following an "app" provisioning request. Hmm... reminds me of, #cloudfoundry cf push. #Maersk has built a custom #IDP using #temporal to orchestrate all of the pieces (including that router & more).

Never did I think Iβd see the US among that other group. π Shameful
A 55-year-old Black woman in a position of leadership is a "DEI hire," but a 19-year-old white kid in a position of leadership is "merit."
No, that's institutionalized white nationalism.
Exactly exactly exactly

This has been two weeks of constant events that are more dangerous than January 6th or, Iβd absolutely argue, even 9/11, and it is a damning indictment of American media that so many publications and reporters are too cowardly, too docile, to act like it.
Just saw a headline "Federal employees told to remove pronouns from email signatures by the end of the day."
No.
I am not a federal employee, but still, No.
Just, NO.
@pahlkadot.bsky.social βs posts just keep getting better and better!
βWhat this kind of thing tells everyone β on the right and the left, elites and the working class β is that the rule of law is easily twisted by those in power to justify whatever it is they want to do.β

For whatever reason, I've never been exposed to radix sort. It's pretty darn clever. Sorts numbers by least significant to most significant digits. Really well suited for large data sets with relatively few digits.
(and yes, I am a geek for finding this interesting - especially on a Saturday π€·ββοΈ)
