After many failed attempts to clean up my inbox since I lost track of it during lockdown, I just archived 9500 unread emails. Feels good

The Outline It's not for everyone. It's for you.

I still haven't gotten over the death of theoutline.com. What recommendations have you got for me for similiar content?

It amazes me that no one has entered the market with a modular hub/dock. Want to replace multiple hubs and cables with a single solution and can’t find anything with the right combination of ports/features. Would be so handy to just buy a carcass of some kind and then plug in the modules I need.

An image showing a screenshot of a blog post. It shows an illustrated sun and moon set on either side above a sketch of a man sat at a laptop. Overlaying the image is the heading "Perpetually Online"

Also liking how easy it is to just set the position on the path when reduced motion is enabled, so I can still convey the same message. #a11y

I've not yet had the opportunity to play with CSS Motion Path, but playing with it (in a small way) for a new blog post and I love that this took literal seconds to do. #css

So true. I'm in the process of replacing all my cheap tools with decent versions and it's so satisfying when they just work instead of having to fight then

TIL Bathroom renovations aren't my bag.

Can really see myself in a few weeks time, sat in my lounge getting rained on, with just no fucks left to give.

Oh I completely agree, it just seems misguided to me. I'm far more likely to pay attention to an ad that's relevant to what I'm looking at at that moment, than something I accidentally clicked on months ago and has followed me around the Internet since.

I don't know why no one matches ads to content, rather than targeting a user specifically. If I'm browsing a hashtag, inject ads related to that hashtag. Or pin an ad immediately after a relevant post with a matching hashtag, so their position in the feed makes sense, and no privacy concerns

Not so much server code. That only runs server side, then the compiled output (and the code to parse it) is included in the bundle

What's everyone using for #Analytics these days? Do you even bother? I'd prefer something that's lightweight, and privacy first.
