A large tech company is asking its employees to limit their AI usage because it's becoming financially infeasible. AI company's plans have always been to make users dependent on their product, then ramp up prices. Now this company is evaluating it and learning that the usage might not be worth it.

Great news for all AI haters: Where I work a company notice just came around, asking us to limit our usage of Cursor due to recent price increases on tokens.

It asked us to be mindful of our token usage, acting like "it was our own money", learn about "efficient prompting".
