@ekurutepe.com Looking at apartments and Solar Watch’s AR mode with the calendar control is aces. Managed to prove to S that one place wouldn’t get a single beam of natural light in the depths of winter 😆

Life is too short to write IAP code.
Totally love the snow and the blue skies in the winter. It’s the dark gray drizzle that sucks.
I just saw this on my @revenuecat.com dashboard and had to laugh. Please somebody tell Cody that I already joined.
Starting on Monday, working on improving developer experience.
I'm super excited to join this great team and looking forward to learn from the nice folks there.
Last year, a bad knee injury set me back hard—my VO2max dropped to 33. After a long recovery, I’ve built it back up to 40 this year. Goal for 2025: 47.
When over 40, avoiding injury is the real goal. Performance is great, but staying in the game matters most.
Hmmm you need to test this. Tax deductible company trip to Australia? 😇
Do you localize this? Let’s say for people in the southern hemisphere?
Wow u tall
All social networks except Reddit feel dead in their own particular way.
A metal bear looking to south towards the sun that will never rise above the horizon slightly north of the arctic circle in Norway.
Exactly a year ago today, just north of the arctic circle near Røkland, Norway.
The compiler throws an error if you don't return or throw from the else block of a guard statement. There is no such requirement for regular if/else blocks. In other words, with if/else it's possible to write bugs by forgetting about the return.
I used to do that as well but there is some value in the forced return from a guard else block.
I agree this is the best solution. I went ahead and added it.

For SolarWatch, I used to write my crashes myself, then rewrote the app in SwiftUI, now all the crashes are written by Apple. 🥁
Which one do you prefer?
guard !alarms.isEmpty else { return }
guard alarms.isEmpty == false else { return }
Musk against Karp is a tough one though.
My model numbers on a fresh install of 16.2rc. If I recall correctly I only ever downloaded this model once when it first became available.
Is there even a new model? It never asked me to download a new model like it does with new runtimes.
Your wish is my command
Just need to figure out how to localize a custom app icon asset.
it's already ready… 😉
Preparing a solstice event for @solarwatch.app with custom app icons. Do I need to prepare a localized version for the ~3% of users in the south hemisphere?
I can't say. It's just been there for years now. I'll need to test w/o it to be able to say.
But there is no option B? Only original (bottom) or option A (top). The original is already the winner of previous test w/o the social proof laurels.
A/B testing out new App Store screenshots layout. Any guesses which one will be better?
There is no threshold. While you don’t need to actively worry about it, you might get some questions if somebody complains to their data protection agency.
A monochrome image of the Cambridge skyline. In the sky are hundreds of curved bands of light, tracing out the Sun's journey over the year
In Summer 2021, I put a pinhole solar camera on the tower of St John's college in Cambridge, UK to image the Sun's path. This was the result!
Each separate arc is a day, and over time you slowly reveal the pattern that the Sun follows over the course of a year 🌞🔭🧪
