Apparently @megalodon is discontinued hence why my feed hadn't updated in 72 hours. Trying out @openvibe — it's great! I don't get why so many alternative clients cannot get basic UI icons "right": consistent curves, same line-weight and visually balanced.

My #StarterPack of Media Art and Digital Thinkers. I have really tried to pick out some Blueskyers under-represented in similar packs. My picks cut across the digital arts and theory space - from gaming, through netart, to immersive media, critical design, AI... just follow them.

There will be some redundancy here with other lists, but I think it’s a useful crosscut nonetheless. Especially interested in practical/theoretical overlaps !

In any case, hello! On a gut level, the illusion of validation kind of works.

Within my small social media bubble, it looks everyone stands on the two boats Mastodon & Bluesky because we now know how quickly things can fail. On one hand this is healthy, on the other hand the cognitive load of shared worlds is heavy.
