I don’t understand why Jayson Tatum isn’t in MVP discussions. He’s become a complete basketball player who does everything his team needs him to on both ends. And the Celtics are one of if not the best team in the NBA.
Tyler Kolek has single handedly COOKED this Sioux Falls Skyforce team in the G League Winter Showcase Championship. 19 points and 7 assists in 21 minutes, just in control out of the pick-and-roll getting paint touch after paint touch.
G League Winter Showcase Championship on RIGHT NOW between the Westchester Knicks and Sioux Falls Skyforce, with the Miami Heat's G League affiliate having one of the best 2024 NBA Draft performers throughout the Tip-Off tournament period in Keshad Johnson.
Very curious to see how Dink Pate performs today for Mexico City in G League Winter Showcase. Historically, prospects have struggled at this event rightfully so. A lot of experienced players in front of decision makers from every team looking to make their mark.
Great opportunity for Pate.
Danny Wolf has been one of the of the most interesting players in college basketball this season.

I love Jaylen Wells' consistent swing towards aggressiveness with the ball in terms of getting downhill, BUT... gotta have a plan when you attack the defense. He's driving without one, and the Kings have been able to capitalize. He's learning, but I love the attitude.
The Cleveland Cavaliers do such a great job of moving without the basketball. Guys aren't just stationary waiting for something to happen. Players move to the basketball, or find backdoors. Such a connected team on both ends of the floor.
So Franz Wagner has been thrown around as a comp in recent years for players who don't legitimately fit that comp.
But I think Cooper Flagg's actual comp might be Franz Wagner.
The basketball tonight has been absolutely incredible in college with more to come. Highly encourage setting some time aside tonight or tomorrow morning when you can.
Cam Spencer belongs on a standard NBA contract playing rotational minutes, end of story.

Two great wins for the Atlanta Hawks here over the Cleveland Cavaliers. There's a lot of young, quality depth to like on this Atlanta squad. Jalen Johnson and Dyson Daniels especially, with Zaccharie Risacher working through his rookie season. Bright Future Hawks.

Much better half from the 76ers than I expected. Good effort on the glass, and Ricky Council really popped.
But man, those guys Amen Thompson and Tari Eason really make a difference for the Rockets when they’re on the floor. Amen especially has been all over.

I've said this to some NBA scouts already, but the Tyrese Proctor storyline at Duke has been very, very fun to watch. Moving off the ball has made his life easier, and he in turn has really broken out in a Quentin Grimes type fashion.

Think Moussa Diabate having some time to develop slowly in the G League last few years has helped him grab onto a backup center role with the Charlotte Hornets. Stronger now, still fights with same effort as he did at Michigan, quick to get to spots and box out. Useful player.
