Funnily enough, I've seen a couple of upcoming Pygmalion books that lean more horror. It'll be interesting to read them & see whether they're speaking to a fear of women having the agency to be angry

I think this is the key, isn't it? That the consequences of failing to fully understand the opposite gender are so imbalanced & thus the stakes in the two narratives will tend to lean away from each other

Yeah the old sea wall sits at the top of the rocky shore. It's made up of people's garden/house walls & the steps leading to these wynds or gardens are the only access outwith the harbours
