One of my favorite Douglas Adams quotes:
“All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others.”
More timely today than ever, don't you think? 💙

Really, really enjoyed Death by Lightning. A lot of fantastic acting but Michael Shannon’s performance as Garfield was really wonderful and Matthew Macfadyen managing to walk the fine line between passion and crazy is impressive to watch.
Just looking at it quickly left me impressed. This could be an interesting alternative to Web Awesome.
Shout out to @joshwcomeau.com for his wonderful article on SVGs, which everyone should read!

The new Datastar homepage.
It finally happened – we launched the new Datastar site and V1 (RC) 🚀
It’s been an incredible journey, and I feel honoured to be working with people like @data-star.dev and Johnny Stevers. And there’s so much more yet to come!!

ECMAScript excitement 😉
Firefox 139 ships the TC39 Stage 3 Temporal proposal 🎉
It's about time.
Congrats to those who worked on the implementation including Andre Bargull & Dan Minor 👍

I feel like there's an opportunity to build a SSE feed of Bluesky's Jetstream Firehose as a demonstration of the technology. I actually did this in an unholy way yesterday but it should never see the light of day (it would catch fire and burn). It could get D* out to a wider audience though.
I’m starting to get hooked on Datastar’s concepts. As a “traditional” web developer the concepts are familiar but alien at the same time which says a lot about the state of things.
I feel like this jives with Datastar nicely. data-star.dev
Love reading well-written articles like this that talk about how a specific component is made.
Nice approach too

Clearly they thought it said "America Bay" and thought it was just for them.
I think I love this.
There was a very entertaining Behind the Bastards podcast deep-dive on Peter T recently.
Following up my previous post on #javascript promises, this article (even though a bit old) is one of the best out there to visually describe the concepts behind promises, async and await. Highly recommend.
As someone who regularly needs to make a lot of concurrent #node fetch requests in a #cloudflare worker, articles similar to this were crucial to my early education.
“…that ‘you do not own your followers or your account or anything at all on corporate social media, and it also highlights the fact that Elon Musk’s X is primarily a political project he is using to boost, or stifle, specific viewpoints and help his friends.’”
💯
Screenshot of the OISIE homepage demonstrating low contrast styling.
Also, styling on the Changelog page seems off.
@oisie.bsky.social Just a heads up that the "Read the Story" link (oisie.com/documentation) at the top of the homepage is 404ing.
Here are a list of account I've found for people who work at Cloudflare.
How are you clearing your cache? Through the dashboard or via the APIs?
If you look at the page source, you can see the table is rendered from a JSON file.

That should make it pretty easy to iterate through and get the data you need.
This is really creative and awesome. Nice work!
Great article on the use of #JavaScript decorators. These look really useful, particularly for things like logging. I'm going to have to try this out in a #Cloudflare worker for an OpenTelemetry implementation.
Good morning! Republicans are bringing this bill to another vote today after it was defeated last week. Please call your reps TODAY and urge them to vote NO on HR 9495.
House switchboard operator is (202) 224-3121. Call your rep and tell them to vote NO. This bill can and will be used as a political tool against nonprofits. Don't take my word for it, here's the ACLU: www.aclu.org/press-releas...
