I am lucky that I use these tools as a hobbyist. I can’t imagine how professionals who rely on the Adobe Suite for a living are feeling right now. We are in an age where you own nothing and are expected to be happy. This is a future I cannot accept, and neither should you. (3/3)

Starting now, I will no longer use any Adobe software unless I can purchase and own a license for it. Some replacements I plan to use include Affinity Photo (v2), Final Cut Pro, and Apple Motion. I'm not aware of any good alternatives to Substance Painter, so I'll likely buy it on Steam. (2/3)

The situation surrounding Adobe Animate is a wakeup call to why owning your software is increasingly more important. The contempt Adobe has shown the users that made them the industry standard is unacceptable. I have used Adobe's apps for over a decade, but I think it’s time to change that. (1/3)
