Dear OP, Iβm not sure youβve been listening to those things you say every week either. According to the Bible, Jesus had Things to say about people like you. They were not particularly flattering.
If youβre not interested in following Jesus, why would the people you lead?
We should *absolutely* encourage people to call it that.
"Paying the Rowling Tax" should be an idiom for 'enduring worse treatment because of transphobia'.
I feel like itβs a proportionate means of achieving the legitimate aim of not having children studied by someone who actively seeks to destroy their lives.
Other than the fact that everyone else involved also needs to be removed, of course.
Iβm not convinced Starmer would sack her if she did defect to Reform. They have the same policies anyway, and Starmer is very bad at appointing people.
Joining a political party you disagree with and starting lawfare to make them let you oppose the partyβs policies should be an absolute nonstarter.
Itβs like joining a golf club and suing when they donβt let you play tennis on the green.
In a game of π I got asked to show my genitalia & accused of having AIDS.
Iβm not going to give up on this until everyone can play the game & not get vilified.
So I decided to drive a π & introduce myself to the community one fare at a time.

* I realise that Grok doesnβt get happy; it doesnβt get sad; it just runs programs. Iβve seen Short Circuit.
But I also anthropomorphise all computers. βHappyβ is essentially how I describe βnot brokenβ
I would guess: no, but it will happily use the term anyway while it explains that daddy told it not because heβs a raging transphobe.
Zack Polanski speaking in front of a Progress flag.
Great to hear @zackpolanski.bsky.social speaking at an event to launch @transactualuk.bsky.socialβs Trans Lives report. When he talks about inclusion and solidarity he really means it.
This is important for everyone. We all need to support each other.
Iβm not sure what I just watched but it reminds me of a four year old playing with a keyboard π€£
I wrote an article about the history of Goodwin and the Gender Recognition Act β and what it means for us now. You can read it tomorrow, make sure you are signed up!
The numbers are growing. 42 organisations have signed our open letter against the transphobic 'biological sex' framing of trans people.
Be part of the movement. Sign the letter, and have your voices heard, in a world that tries to silence us all.

Trans healthcare is so bad that banning it might be *increasing* hormone use, and every trans person ever is like: "oh, yeah, that makes sense"
Transparent Action plans to respond to the draft Guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education, published on 12 February by the Department for Education (DfE). This Guidance will affect how trans, non-binary and gender-diverse children are treated in schools. Weβd like you to answer some questions about your childβs experience at school. Weβre keen to hear from parents of children of all ages β children and adults β about their experiences in education now and in the past. Click on the link in the comments below. This will help us shed light on the real life challenges that trans, non-binary and gender-diverse young people face at school, how that has changed over time and how they might be better understood and supported. As always, your privacy is very important to us and all responses will be kept private and only quoted anonymously. We will use your responses in our formal reply to the consultation. We need your response by 31 March 2026 to be included. We will also be working with other organisations to create a template for parents who want to submit their own responses to the DfE. You can find the draft Guidance on the DfE website. There are two main sections that affect trans, non-binary and gender-diverse young people - βRegulations and safeguarding requirements relating to school premisesβ (toilets, changing rooms and showers) and βChildren who are questioning their genderβ.
@transparentaction.bsky.social are doing some fantastic work coordinating responses to the Government consultation on the new draft βKeeping Children Safe in Schoolsβ guidance.

Only about 1% of trans people detransition. Only about 1% of them do so because theyβre not trans. For the rest itβs mostly to escape bigotry, and they often retransition when theyβre in a better place.
And 100% of these people should receive the support and healthcare they want and need.
Oh and just remember - once youβve decided a minorityβs human rights are up for debate, youβve decided HUMAN RIGHTS ARE UP FOR DEBATE.
To everybody who framed all of this as βThe Trans Debate,β well done! Youβve opened the door to The Anybody Debate.
"Trans rights are human rights" isn't an attempt at a catchy slogan. It's a statement of fact. You can't toss out one without tossing the other.
"I am not sure what evidence the hon. Member is referring to or to what it testifies. Speaking with what limited knowledge is available to me as a professional man in this field, I may say that this is one long string of claptrap." Quoted in Peter Parker (ed.), Some Men in London volume 2, page 284.
A little over 60 years ago, the UK's parliament was debating the then Sexual Offences Bill, which was to decriminalise male homosexuality.
This, from David Kerr MP (Labour), who was a doctor, could be used today against way too many people yapping about LGBTQIA people, especially trans people:
The Sensible Centrists are peddling a very specific narrative about trans rights at the moment.
That people aren't transphobic, oh no.
They 'just' 'have concerns' about sports & surgeries on trans kids. And lefties have made it worse by 'pretending the science isn't there yet'.
Want to put in place a terrible policy that will harm trans kids?
No need to provide evidence.

Ok, Nigel Farage MP never bothered to learn how elections work.
Got it.

Im really sorry to ask but could we send this around again? I badly need to fill my prescriptions and I can barely get out of bed at the moment. Currently at $10 of $250 to cover it. Please boost, it means everything. π€π€π€
A broader takeaway I think is nobody should be allowed to be so rich that being told no, or being held accountable, represents such a moral injury to that person's psyche that they feel like their only recourse is to burn the world down.
Man in glitter wearing a rainbow Amnesty International t-shirt holds up a sign that says, βProtect Trans Kids. Provide Gender Affirming Care.β
Iβm marching at the Sydney Mardi Gras tonight. As always, Iβm here in unapologetic solidarity with trans folks who are enduring systematic political and social attacks on their existence.
We will keep marching for a world where we everyone can flourish with freedom, justice, and community.
