I have an MIK adaptor on a milk crate for the back of my ebike! They work pretty well, I got longer screws and fender washers at the local hardware store to secure the crate onto the plate.

In this case, it seems to be prepared by Albert Grover & Associates, a group of "transportation" consulting engineers. I wonder if they have ever actually ridden a bicycle.

A single painted bike lane, that looks like it’s barely 4 ft wide, sits on a vast road with fully 9 lanes dedicated to car traffic. The lane is sandwiched between a high speed right turn slip lane and a forward travel lane, with nothing separating them except some paint. What isn’t shown in the picture is that there’s no bike lane before the intersection, and no bike lane after it.
