old Windows versions of software don't support webp, what a surprise! It's not like they can do OTA updates to fking Windows 98 to add webp support.

Windows... kinda does for me. And I didn't install the webp image support extension. Legacy Windows Photo Viewer opens webp's on Windows 11 22H2, but it screws with the color profile so they look weird.

checked on PC, so the full size image IS indeed a jpeg, just a really high quality one so it distorts the colors significantly less. here it ("feed_fullsize") is zoomed in as well as the "feed_thumbnail" version
