Disappointing update, I’ve learned that VAIO recovery discs for this model are 5 CD sets and I only have 2. The previous owner only got the 2 CDs when he bought it previously off someone. He did provide a disc with a bunch of Win2K drivers though. I will archive those along with the 2 discs I have.

Just picked this bad boy up on Facebook Marketplace. A Sony Vaio PCG-R505GP! I’ve watched enough @thisdoesnotcompute.bsky.social to know those discs are worth their weight in gold. They’ll be on @archive.org soon enough!
