I think it's particularly extra on weeks like these, because it's not really my beat. I cover scams and media culture, but the fire hose of nonsense is so overwhelming that it leaks everywhere. I'm basically forced to consume it alongside my usual garbage, and sort through it all.

I'm just going to pretend nothing is happening until Monday.

I (hopefully) sell truthful information and stories. AltNPS sells merch, and the Bulwark sells opinion news. So we can gauge 'why' we quote certain ways. Bulwark cuts quotes to push agendas, while AltNPS does so to push a narrative. So you have to weigh those against your own shadiness scale. 2/2
