I’ve LOVED this series of Industry, and have also looked forward to these Decider recaps after each episode
"overshadows a young woman’s coming of age with the hint of a ghost story": Lucía Aleñar Iglesias’ nuanced feature debut FORASTERA (2025) has its UK première 8.30pm tonight at @glasgowfilmfest.bsky.social. Recommended. projectedfigures.com/2025/11/20/f...

Busy few days of film
Our first review from @glasgowfilmfest.bsky.social 🤩
Jan Komasa's #GoodBoy is "unsettling" and "genre‑slippery" with powerhouse performances from Stephen Graham and Anson Boon ⛓️

Favourite of the fest so far #GFF26
Willem Dafoe is, as ever, a compelling presence in Miguel Ángel Jiménez’s 70s-set melodrama The Birthday Party but the film around him is bland and boring. We’re invited into a lavish celebration but stuck with the worst people in the room, we’re left looking for an excuse to leave early #GFF26
My day two at #GFF26!
Today’s films are My Father’s Island, Couture, and One Last Deal.
Heading west for my 13th year at Glasgow Film Festival.
Today’s films are The Good Boy & The Birthday Party! #GFF26 #FilmSky
For @takeonecinema.net, I reviewed EVERYBODY TO KENMURE STREET, the opening film of this year's Glasgow Film Festival. It's a stirring documentary focused on the individuals who chose to defend their neighbours that day and the Scottish context of the protest. People Make Glasgow. #GFF26
With #GFF26 now in full swing, today’s #ThrowbackThursday post is one of my favourite interviews from my coverage at the festival. In March 2020, just before lockdown, I chatted with director Nick Rowland about his indie drama Calm With Horses 🐴

Hearing a lot about this show Industry but not sure whether you want to take the plunge? I've got good news: Everything good about Industry is right there in the series premiere, and it only gets better from there. As I wrote last season, all you'll need to decide if it's for you is one hour
Aye it borrows a lot but it felt like it was wearing its influences on its sleeve.
Throwing its many influences at the wall to see what sticks, Gore Verbinski’s anti-AI sci-fi adventure Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die doesn’t have an original bone in its eccentric body but it’s fun and thought-provoking nonetheless. I’d happily watch a spin-off with Haley Lu Richardson’s character!
Set for a UK release in May via @vuelumiere.bsky.social, here’s my ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review of Ido Fluk’s music drama Köln 75!

Scottish drama I Swear comes to @netflix.com on 10th March in the UK. Following the BAFTA backlash, educate yourself by watching this fantastic film.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s revolutionary thriller One Battle After Another cleaned up at last night’s BAFTAs, cementing itself as the clear frontrunner at the Oscars next month! 🧹

everyone needs to get on the david jonsson train asap. watch WASTEMAN to understand why
Still in some cinemas, it's well worth seeking out Kristen Stewart's emotionally raw directorial debut The Chronology of Water.

Had a chat with Kleber Mendonça Filho about THE SECRET AGENT not long after he and Wagner Moura got a mysterious call from President Lula. For @theskinnymag.bsky.social:

A big flashy LA heist thriller with a starry ensemble, Crime 101 is a throwback to the cops & robbers flicks of the 90s. It’s slick and intricate storytelling from Bart Layton and its engine purrs all the way to a gripping finale. Ruffalo is made to be a salt n’ pepper haired dishevelled detective.
Getting that last Best Picture nominee ticked off this evening ✅
