My favorite new-to-me sensor so far is IMUs or Inertial Measurement Units, which are a collection of sensors including accelerometers & gyroscopes, used in lots of tech, like phones. The book mentioned that IMUs tend to accumulate errors, & how autonomous vehicles use GPS to account for this. Cool~!
So far in chapter 1, I've learned about the various types of sensors required to build an autonomous vehicles, and the various roles they play in the decision-making systems (which I'll learn more about in future chapters).

Ingress NGINX is being retired in March 2026.
After this date, no security patches or bugfixes will be issued. Plan your migration to Gateway API or a supported controller now.
