Even pre-Internet, one of the reasons I prefer having bound volumes of old comics over official reprints is that you get all of the old letters and contemporaneous editorial commentary that's usually removed from collected editions.

A self-admitted political novice whose only previous experience in elected office was as student body president at Johns Hopkins University, Agarwal said it was finally the right moment to explore his interest in public service after he turned 40 and sold his latest company last year. He launched a campaign for governor in August, but gained no traction, and said he is changing course because he can have more of an impact in the House race. “I felt like it was a bit of a put-up-or-shut-up kind of moment, where I can’t keep complaining about something if I’m not going to do something about it,” he said.
Also this kind of quote just annoys me. There are in fact any number of ways to get involved in public service that aren't running for major offices.
(I am younger than this guy and this is my fifth year on the Sunnyvale Planning Commission.)

I personally don't think that running a "the incumbent has lost touch with his district" campaign will work against an incumbent who holds monthly in-district town halls and, among other things, got my city $2M in federal funds for safe routes to schools, but I guess we will find out.

Claude gave me a workable first draft of a schedule that I was able to adjust into something usable.
ChatGPT made up its *own* list of ~100 hikes and scheduled *that*.
