No fewer than 5 bills will have their 3rd reading in the Lords this coming week, signalling the end of core passage through Parliament, with only any amendments left to agree on.

Given the unanimous reporting of our media wanting us to join an illegal war the citizens of this country are not buying it.
Have the media barons pushed the public too far? I do hope so. I think their anti Starmer rhetoric has worn very thin.
Given its use as a treatment for baldness, very possible 😉
Maybe, but they don't see that as "rescue", more as a "taxi service".
The Commission will continue it's worth this year and is expected to start up a national conversation, which will likely have many opportunities for people to engage with the Commission's work.
It's really good to see both immediate action and longer term work on social care being done!

Social Care has been a big problem for years due to Tory cuts.
Labour is taking immediate action on interim recommendations by Louise Casey's review.
A year ago, the Labour government instructed Louise Casey to carry out an Independent Commission on Adult Social Care.
This is a major piece of work to fundamentally transform the care sector and will take a long time.
But Baroness Casey said she would feedback with any immediate actions...

Now he's scaremongering about helium, sulphuric acid & the inability to store oil, gas etc even though there are 2 months production storage in Saudi.🙄

We've all been in meetings.
We file in, sit down, get an Agenda for discussion.
The Chairman reads each item, its discussed, minuted, agreement reached & action points issued.
The Chairman's (Starmer) job is neutral control.🙄

Almost nobody in the media reported on the former Tory Government's sweeping power grab of the electoral commission. This week Labour have announced that they will reverse what Boris Johnson did and return the commission to independence.
Ofcourse Labour will get absolutely no credit for doing this
TLDR?
The *Tory Government* didn't bother writing a law to allow them to seize & search asylum seekers phones, & didn't keep records of who they took them from (incredibly).
That was illegal, & courts awarded compensation (rightly).
Only ~60 asylum seekers involved.
Labour has now written a law.
Another perfect illustration of what is wrong with our media and just what the government is up against!
In this case, omission of details and fact twisting which makes people blame Labour rather than the Tories.
Labour bring in stronger protections for children with allergies in school!
Measures include:
+ requiring life-saving allergy pens to be stocked by all schools
+ Extra training for teachers
+ improved incident reporting
+ dedicated allergy policies
+ Individual Healthcare Plans

Yeah - every smoker "just stops".
Problem is, most smokers start again after a few hours, a day, a week.
Cold turkey *doesn't work* for most people.
Thats why I developed my common sense, scientifically based, *free* method, which *everyone* can use to quit smoking.

Zack is getting hysterical over this, but he still hasn't explained where he'd find the £604billion needed to repair & upgrade water & sewage to legal levels of service, or even how to pay the shortfall between £10billion income from bills & £20billion cost of supply.
