Goldeneye is one of the best games on the planet. Beating it on 007 level at uni is still more of an achievement than the 2:1 BA I got... Kneeling + Slaps Only was also a strong M-PLY favourite. And let us not forget the awesome power of dual Klobbs!

I think it's a decent game, man - I agree. I mean, if CF / Zzap! had cited that it was disk-only and £15, then yes, I agree, they could be seen as negatives for the UK market. But the game looks and playus great and the sound is great. Chukka chukka chuck! Modern Day (BITD) Choplifter.

#CommodoreFormat Issue 2 and Stevie J dropped a 77% clanger on WoF citing jerky scrolling and the need to land (!) as negatives. The scrolling seems fine to me. How glorious does this review look, though? Love it. It is 85% and more for me. Great little game. The animation is sublime!

Zzap! gave the game a mixed bag of 79%, which, was 1% higher than the #Amiga version, which often happened during this cross-over period.

A cool, faux-digitised loading screen for WINGS OF FURY for the C64. The classic shark-nosed "Flying Tiger" P-40 is flying directly at us on a backdrop of FIRE. Cool medal-style "Wings of Fury" logo.

Matin! I fondly remember salivating over WoF in CF back in late 1990 and I couldn't understand why the game only reviewed at the (albeit the best) mid-seventies on the #C64. Firing it up now, it seems like a lovely game! Just take your time with the controls!

I was *not* speaking ill of the C64 version, I was saying that you were speaking ill of the C64 version, but I was mistaken - you were speaking ill of the C64 conversion of the sequel! I ahve never played (for more then 1 minute) any of the C64 versions.

A fantastic, albeit minimalist cover from the box off the Ultimate game "Underwurlde" for the C64. Some little Tengu thing with wings and a tail. A small tall demon, if you will.

Sticking with #UltimatePlayTheGame we have another Speccy conversion to the #C64 and again, seemingly, swathes of people have much love for UW, I just think it's a bouncing mess of annoyance. What's your take..?

Nice little haul you have there. A thing, for literal fuck knows reasons, we used to do in our early 20s, is each of us, usually a pair (of tits), order 6 bottles of Reef at the bar and six straws. £1 a bottle a one point. Put in straw, bend over the side. Reefpedo all six in 20 seconds (or less). 🤦🏼
