I put the cottage cheese on top of oven roasted brussels sprouts. Seems to be a winning combination.

Decided to try something new with the leftover turkey bones. I made paitan ramen broth out of it. Made a tare, cooked up some noodles, and put together a few bowls of Thanksgiving leftover paitan ramen. Would recommend.

First pizza with well browned cheese. Definitely on the thick side.

Tried my hand at homemade pizza with a new electric pizza oven. First one is definitely on the thick side, the second had a hard launch. Both were delicious. Three kinds of mozzarella and provolone.

Today's bento is niku miso udon. Niku miso sauce made with akai miso over udon noodles with a side of inside-out egg roll salad, a blueberry, raspberry, and banana fruit salad, and two kinds of pickles.

Last week's was a gyudon bento. Gyudon over white rice with broccoli stir-fried with lao gan ma, tamagoyaki, fresh strawberries, ham blossoms, and cheese rabbits.

I decided it was time to start #bentofriday back up for my wife and her co-workers last week. I forgot to post then, so here is last week's #bento and this week's. I at least five or six bento for them every week. いただきます。

I made British fish and chips tonight, complete with mushy peas. Flounder and cod. Tasted great.

I’ve been keeping myself busy making lots of breads with my new bread machine.

It is a delicious distraction from everything going on.

I also made more bread. A loaf of white oat bread. Haven’t had any yet but the missus says it is pretty good. A definitely dented one side getting it out of the bread machine.

Today, I broke out my new bread machine and made a plain, white loaf of bread. We may have eaten half of it in accident.

Yesterday, the wife and I made melon pan together. It turned out nearly as good as from bakeries in Japan. Pretty pleased with it. #melonpan
