Saddened to hear of the passing of Frederick Wiseman. I took a documentary film class in college, and the screenings of High School, Hospital, and Titicut Follies are burned into my brain. Incredible body of work, so influential. RIP.
also, when you are terribly mid at something, you enjoy it for its own sake instead of immediately trying to figure out how to monetize an otherwise fulfilling and enjoyable hobby. Normalize doing things simply because you enjoy them, regardless of how good (or not) you are at them.

One of my most memorable filmgoing experiences was a screening of Sátántangó at Northwest Film Forum some years back. An enthralling experience. I've never been so glad I spent seven hours in a movie theatre. RIP Béla Tarr.
