I think I lied when I said that last week was the most mentally exhausting week of work I've had in awhile.
This week now takes that trophy.
I've also once again hit my limit of being able to hear "Well ChatGPT says..." without throwing something out the nearest window.

Except my current lease isn’t up until the end of September, so now it just feels like my whole life is on hold until then.

Thankfully the theater kids in college were pretty damn chill lol. I played in the pit orchestra for a TON of musicals in college, and it was always a good time. Nice bit of extra spending money too!
Yep! Was a trombone performance minor in college. Originally a music tech major but music theory classes wrecked me lol.
Once I'm through all this job hunting stress, I really need to get back to learning to draw again. Definitely miss having some sort of creative outlet, but I also want to do something other than music for once.

I don't think I've felt this mentally exhausted after a week of work in a *really* long time. Glad I've got tomorrow off at the very least. A long weekend to recover a little bit is exactly what I need right now.

I swear I must be cursed lol. Any time the lead dev at my current job goes on vacation for a week it feels like EVERYTHING breaks all at once. It isn't even my week on the support rotation and I've still been putting out constant fires both yesterday and today.
A friend and I stumbled across multiple Kali in a single compound once! Just sitting there watching us and meowing. Was not expecting to see more than one at a single time. That was the only time in the server slam that we actually saw any.

Still glad I took her to make sure she was okay, though. I was also told once again that I have the single most vocal cat this vet has ever seen 🐈⬛ She was yapping away the entire time we were in the office lol.
This little house panther decided to give me a heart attack today. She started frantically clawing at her mouth and yowling, so I managed to get her in to the vet immediately. She’s totally fine! Vet’s best guess is she had something stuck under her tongue, and it came out before I got her there.
