Because at least some of us will expect the apps built on top of LLMs to be authoritative sources we need them to be better at being correct. But I also wonder how we’ll learn to meet them partway

Forums + search results are filled with bad info that we’ve learned to filter “intuitively”. Some of us are better at filtering parts of it. Others eattheonion all the time.

There are multi reblog conversations on happening on tumblr about this. Clearly relations need to be normalized and embassies built.

So I guess now is as good a time as any to mention that I moved from NYC to Oakland two years ago to help take care of Tricia’s family. I haven’t really mentioned it anywhere. Because of the pandemic, I figured most people wouldn’t even notice.

I realize that Twitter had a bit of a chilling effect on my tendency to share/not share. It’s going to take a lot of shitposting for me to get my muscle memory back
