Good times. Good times.
Good times. Good times.
I was 1@6465 on WWIVnet.
She knew immediately.
Welp. What may have been obvious to others but not me is now official. I have ADHD. Now, gimme some Adderall!
LLMs can be unnecessarily verboseβloquacious even. So many bullet points just scrolling by. Most just ai;dr and move on.
But when it's part of a workflow, it can break routing logic. The solutionβstructured output.
Part 3 of Learning LangGraph.js shows you how to do it.

I wonder why that is? Regardless, glad you made it in!
I plan to set up a mailing list to announce meetings and things like that. Not a discussion mailing list, just announcements. Once I get it set up I'll publish that on the website.
Once you get your Discord issues resolved, that's the place to be. It's where all the discussion is happening.
I set it to unlimited so it should work fine but try this one instead. It's good for the next 7 days. discord.gg/t3vDYyHq
I'll be on Eat Sleep Code today at 3pm ET to talk tech news with @edcharbeneau.bsky.social and John Bristowe. Will #AI come up? Will @redis.io? Of course! But I'll keep the hype to a minimum and focus on practical stuff that helps you build better apps.

We're just on Discord for now (might be moving soon, never know) but are looking for a venue for in person meetups. So if you have a place or know of a place, lemme know.
And, of course, we want to get the word out. All the details can be found at core.radio.
I'm starting a new meetup called COREβthe Central Ohio Radio Enthusiasts. It's for radio and radio-adjacent interests. It's not a ham radio club, we talk about that, but also GMRS, mesh networks like Meshtastic, Reticulum, and HaLow, software-defined radio, and shortwave listening.
So, I learned a new Internet abbreviation today: ai;dr

A replacement for HamClock, which will shutdown forever come June, has been release. It's called OpenHamClock. Looks pretty swish!

I registered w8guy.radio yesterday. Nothing there yet but hopefully you'll be able to email me@w8guy.radio in the future! Or maybe I should go with nerd@w8guy.radio?
Found this nifty tool to create animated Mermaid diagrams. I've just messed with the free version but it's pretty cheap and even has a pay as you go if you just need a couple.
It's at animerm.ai if you think it'd be useful.
No D-Star although there is a repeater for it really close to my house. The only YSF repeaters I can hit are part of Ohio Link which, now that I say it, I think are also available on DMR.
I got my radios programmed, no small feat that. However, my HT can't hit a tower that does DMR from my house. So, I haven't tried it out yet. Then I got busy. ;)
Just a little something I wrote. But it totally works!
I know, right!
It's clearly a problem with the monitor. They make them fuzzier than they used to.
Any meme with a beard is a good meme.
Hey @pa-dev.bsky.social, I too am a Full Snack Developer!

"With elevated interiors, bold designs, and specialty drinks paired with your Taco Bell favorites, DRGβs venues are known as some of the most iconic destinations across the country."
So you can get drunk and eat Taco Bell at the same time, I guess. Iconic.

Have you tried Augmented Code yet? Been using it for two days and it's a lot better than Claude Code.
Semantic routing improves predictability and efficiency in AI systems. RedisVL classifies user queries without LLM calls, reducing token usage and latency. Combined with LangGraph, it creates a deterministic flow for routing, execution, and decision logic. Read how here: medium.com/@bhavana0405...
I run a Discord server for my radio club. We have the following rules:
1οΈβ£ Don't be a jerk.
2οΈβ£ Don't do anything that makes us add a new rule.
3οΈβ£ If your not sure if rule 2 will be invoked, see rule 1.
This work surprisingly well for our admittedly small scale.
