So Philip Glass just joined TikTok. He only has like 4 posts and they’re simply him in what I assume is his living room playing the piano. First comment on one I saw was “your piano is too close to the fireplace, you’ll dry it out” and if that’s not the internet in a nutshell I don’t know what is.
This Duolingo lesson was rather close to teaching me the thing I really need to know.

Like most of the companies that small artists have to deal with, Musixmatch actually only has one customer: Spotify.
They don't give a fuck about us. They get money from licensing deals with streamers. We're just the product. (They'll happily charge us and give us garbage in return, though)

I love that when talking to their bullshit AI assistant about how to get a refund, it told me to go press the "Get Help" button and type "I want a refund."
The "Get Help" button, by the way, just fucking sent me right back to the exact same AI assistant.
