I'm picturing Putin riding bare-chested on Trump's back, complete with cowboy hat and spurs.

Retired USAF officer and HS math teacher. Married grandpa. Democrat, Pro-Ukraine, Anti-Fascist. I believe the river of life flows from our ancestors through us to our descendants. Each of us is just a drop in that river. We're all in this together.
I'm picturing Putin riding bare-chested on Trump's back, complete with cowboy hat and spurs.
There's millions of Americans who would gladly move to Canada right about now, and I'm one of them.
Trump is a 5th grade bully at heart, and that's exactly what he sounds like whenever he speaks publicly.

More US troops likely to die in this war? No shit, Sherlock! That's why we try to avoid starting wars we didn't need to start. Like this war.

Today, Michelle and I are proud to announce that we will be hosting the dedication ceremony for the Obama Presidential Center on June 18th in Chicago, and welcoming the public on June 19th.
We canβt wait for you to visit. Go to obama.org to learn more.
Trump is planning to demolish Iran like Netanyahu demolished Gaza. These are war crimes.

A Florida handyman who was sentenced on Thursday to life in prison for molesting two children had been convicted of storming the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, but was pardoned by Trump. www.yahoo.com/news/article...
Here in Tampa FL, the average gas price has gone from $2.79 to about $3.50 so far. I don't expect it to go over $4 anytime soon, but if it does then look on the bright side--the blame will be directly on Trump and the MAGA crowd will be feeling the pain. This will affect the midterm elections.
My daughter has a Tesla and regrets it. There's still not that many quick charging stations so it's not good for long trips and if you have an apartment where you can't leave it plugged in overnight, then it's a pain to keep charged. Better to get a hybrid like Toyota Camry that gets 50 mpg.
The obvious answer is Trump's boss. Putin.
I retired from the USAF just before the Iraq war because I knew the WMD claims were BS and I wanted no part of it. I was right. I just feel horrible for all the service members who got "Stop Lossed" once the war started, and had no choice but to go on endless deployments resulting in many suicides.
When I compare the current job market to the mid-70s when I graduated from college, it's quite a stark difference. It was comparatively easy to get a good-paying job back then.
Trump is still doing "The Apprentice", only in the White House.
Unless it affects him directly.
If a missile misfired and hit some civilians, that's different from the civilians being deliberately targeted. Both are tragic, but one is a war crime.
We have turned from "We are all in this together" to "Me first, screw you." We have to get back to thinking that we are all in this together. Because we are.
Anybody remember how Trump shrugged off the Covid deaths during the pandemic? He said "It is what it is." History is repeating itself.

Meanwhile, gas prices are way up and the stock market is way down. Here in Tampa, gas prices have jumped up to $3.30-3.50 in just a couple of days.
All this winning!!
Good point--we need to stick to the facts as much as possible.
I suspect the bombing of the school was done at the order of Netanyahu, since it is so similar to what has happened in Gaza. Do you have any evidence it was done at Trump's order? My impression is that Trump's ego is controlling him, while Netanyahu's blood lust is what drives him.
If it's not a war, then how do we justify the sinking of that Iranian frigate in international waters? That's an act of war. Period.
You're probably right. Voter suppression leads into voter apathy. Make it hard enough to get registered and to vote, and many people will skip it.
I strongly suspect you are right. We saw the same behavior in Gaza--they would bomb a hospital and claim that terrorists were using it as a hideout.
The Israelis are treating Iran like Gaza. Indiscriminate killings of civilians. Netanyahu won't be satisfied until Tehran is reduced to rubble.
NOEM: I would disagree with the judge
CROCKETT: I'm sure you would, but can you tell me whether or not you have a law degree?
NOEM: A what?
CROCKETT: A law degree
NOEM: No I do no-
CROCKETT: Okay
Kelly: "You could pick a random group of people off the street tonight here in DC and they could probably do a better job than our government is doing right now. They don't have a goal, there's no strategic plan. And what this is likely to lead to is, again, a long war with a lot of dead Americans."
There's a lot of laws getting disregarded this last year. I'd say voter suppression is alive and well despite any laws to the contrary. Or were you saying that the laws were intended to increase voter suppression?
It's easy for people who don't know any better to assume "voter apathy" when it's actually "voter suppression". But this year the voter suppression is more and more blatant.
Don't even ask about an exit strategy! Trump will tell you he has the concept of a plan, and he will announce it in 2 weeks.
