The JS one was a bit rough and not as fun though. Ended up basically writing my own mini lib

Had hackdays at work and I basically wrote two CLIs.
One in JavaScript and one in Go.
Was quite fun. Bubble tea in Go is exceptional! Definitely going to create more CLIs with it in the future.
A sunset with orange light behind clouds
Sometimes sun does show up and gives nice winter sunsets
honestly can't believe it's thursday again and it's almost the weekend. hopefully i soon feel the same about 30th december.
This is great! I was planning on doing AoC with Zig this year. Thanks!
At least thatβs settled
Screen grab of google search results asking number of books Stephen king has written and google saying βAt least 73β
well okay then
Donβt know why my peak productivity is 10 pm - 2 am.
It would be fine if I could stop by 1:30 and then go to bed by 2. But I end up being super energetic and many times canβt sleep till 5 even if I stop working by 2.
Image of a memory journal app with a modal containing a calendar open over the main surface of the app
Ended up flipping it around. Having the main writing surface be above was annoying to use on mobile browsers
Still have to go through the colors and calendar design but the functionality is now all there.
Idk who said talking about weather is small talk because talking about weather in Sweden is like openly discussing mental health
Interesting! If theyβre not fast yet, do concurrency libs also use them only in certain cases?
This sounds amazing! I tried Ocaml 3 years ago and kind of gave up on it due to the state of the ecosystem.
With Effects and better tooling, maybe it's time to go back to hacking with it.
Hahah every time it breaks my soul.
Howβs the new Linkin Park album?
I heard the single and i remember it being ass but maybe I give the album a shot anyway
This doesnβt mean that you put trash in prod. It mostly ends up making sure that people are careful-enough by default.
Putting the fear of production for new devs is a sure way of slowing their growth.
Thing that Iβve learnt working in Tech is that taking things to production is the single most important skill and everyone from juniors to seniors should be good at it.
Seniors should ideally just be better at creating less of a mess.
Haha ikr!
I feel the same in any environment now. Even in browsers if there isnβt a vim extension, it gets annoying.
Tried safari but feels odd and choppy. Firefox for now. Dev on chrome. Chrome devtools are too good to not use at day job.
When you get ready to sing along to paranoid android and they bust out fitter happier

Yes!! There is another thing similar called lazygit. Donβt use it as often as lazydocker but comes in clutch for staging hunks
Learnt about nice tools. pspg as a pager for Postgres and lazydocker which is a Docker TUI
The Tourist is such a good closer for an album
open.spotify.com/track/1UuaWK...
Not sure. Maybe doesnβt matter.
Have a follow π¦
Haha yeah thanks!
Procrastinated until one of your recurring payment doesnβt work.
Hopefully I do it before that π
Managed to open my replacement bank card envelope after 20 days. Just need to activate it now. But on the other hand I have the rest of the month left
pspg is such a banger pager to use with psql. github.com/okbob/pspg
I gave up on it after I broke up with my then partner haha. I looked at it a few years later and it was so ad infested that I never got back on.
