And which Indian products did you buy lately? Infosys consultancy or a tata truck. Shut your face you imbecile. These are sanctions and not tariffs to punish Russia.

That as it may be, but secondary sanctions on the major trading partners of Russia is an excellent measure. Now let's hope he pushes through with them.

US does almost no trade with Russia so direct sanctions have no impact. Secondary sanctions on the major trading partners of Russia, like India, will hit them much harder.

Let's hope many more countries and companies that profit from trading with Russia are slapped with similar secondary sanctions. It's about time.

So you approve of India buying oil on the cheap from Russia and thus supporting their war in Ukraine? Maybe think before you meme.

Secondary sanctions imposed on countries like India that have significant trade with Russia, would have a very significant impact.

Maybe you guys should learn about the Dutch trading mentality and how that has been used for hundreds of years to reach goals in a pragmatic way. If that means putting the client or trading partner on a pedestal, so be it. The goal does justify the means.

And Russia may like to take Hokkaido and China could decide to "liberate" Okinawa/Ryukyu.. it's a new world order after the US has decided to withdraw it's protective umbrella.

The Baltics and Finland are certainly vulnerable to Russian aggression, but imagine the neighborhood of Japan when China takes Taiwan. Basically cornered on all sides by countries not exactly the greatest fans of the Japanese.

Japan also neighbors Russia.. and with China and North Korea, I would say Japan's security issues are at least on par with Europe. What this does mean is that nuclear non proliferation is finished.. and that would be a very hard thing to accept for Japan but they may be forced to.

14.02.2025 08:12 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I meant more security issues for Japan itself if it can no longer rely on US nuclear protection. So basically the same situation as the EU vis-a-vis the US.
