Carl withdrew from the nomination process today.
This is clearly fine with the GOP.

This is a two way race.
I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public.
I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are.
1/ Here's what I can share:
Trump said this week that Iran was 2 weeks away from having a nuclear bomb. This is what he said in July.
This is the guy who likes to downplay non-fatal injuries suffered by US service members in combat.
They hate me because I fight. They attack me because I win.
I will do everything I can to protect free and fair elections. I will never back down.
Not really breaking any news here.
You can judge a family by the company it keeps.
There's a new Trump-Epstein statue on the National Mall.
It's an enormous statue, spray-painted gold, of Trump embracing Epstein in a reenactment of that famous scene from "Titanic."

Nobody in this Administration can agree on why they started this war or when it will end. The Secretary of State, the Secretary of Defense, and the President are all saying different things. Servicemembersβ lives are on the line, and they deserve better than this.
Some of the frivolous September purchases made under Secretary Pete Hegsethβs stewardship include a $98,329 Steinway & Sons grand piano for the Air Force chief of staffβs home, $5.3 million for Apple devices such as the new iPad, and an astronomical amount of β¦

Trump is spending $1 billion a day waging war on Iran. Meanwhile...
Trump's sons are investing in a drone company that could soon receive Pentagon contracts.
And of course Trump's Big Oil donors stand to gain windfall profits as the price of oil skyrockets.
War is a racket.
Blumenthal after getting briefed on Iran: "We seem to be on a path toward deploying American troops on the ground in Iran to accomplish any of the potential objectives here. There's also the specter of active Russian aid to Iran putting in danger American lives ... China also may be assisting Iran"
Meta has deliberately cut civil rights and civil liberties out of its calculus. As an internal Meta memo reasoned, βMany civil society groups that we would expect to attack us would have their resources focused on other concerns.β The company presumably sees a business opportunity in the ongoing assault on American democracy. Thatβs where Mark Zuckerberg, Metaβs chief executive, is wrong: We are paying attention, and we understand clearly that this technology is part of that very same assault on our rights. We are always ready to fight, and we will continue to defend everyoneβs rights β from both the government and Big Tech.
It was recently leaked that Meta plans to quietly roll out smart glasses equipped with facial recognition while civil liberties groups like ours are busy dealing with the Trump administration.
They're wrong. We can walk and demand Meta halt production on these creepy glasses at the same time.
Iβm introducing a bill to ban bets on war and death in prediction markets.
Betting on war and death creates an environment in which insiders can profit off of nonpublic information, our national security is jeopardized, and violence is encouraged.
Congress must act.
Trump has now conducted 42 boat strikes, killing nearly 160 people.
Remember: no judge or jury has found these boats were trafficking drugs. We're simply taking Trump's word for it.
Heβs unilaterally acting as judge, jury, and executioner.
This is a danger to us all.
No wonder why this fool can't make any progress on ending Russia's invasion of Ukraine. bsky.app/profile/atru...
It's difficult to end a war if you don't know why you started it in the first place.
Markwayne Mullin is the same dude already under scrutiny for suspicious stock trades.
And heβs supposed to run Americaβs national security.
β’ No government security experience
β’ No law enforcement background
β’ No intelligence work
β’ No military service
β’ Not even a bachelorβs degree
The TrumpβEpstein statue is back in D.C.
Keep talking about those Epstein files. π₯ππ½

No. Might does not make right.
BREAKING: As many as 150 U.S. troops have been wounded in the war with Iran, according to sources familiarβfar higher than the Pentagonβs publicly disclosed figure of just 8 seriously wounded troops. The true toll of this war is already far worse than the public has been told. (Reuters)
Just remember, when It Finally Happens, Donald Trump won't be able to hear your wild celebration but all his lickspittles and failsons will.
Coons: "Right now, the clearest winner from this war in Iran is Russia. It's stunning that President Trump is on the phone with Vladimir Putin and spending more time consulting with him than he is with Congress and the American people."
Warren: "It is still the case that the Trump admin cannot explain the reasons we entered this war, the goals we're trying to accomplish. The only part that seems clear is that while there is no money for 15m Americans who lost their healthcare, there's a billion a day to spent on bombing Iran."
Elizabeth Warren: "I am a hard no on a supplemental. This is not a war the American people want us to engage in. This is not a war that makes us safer ... No. No more money. The only thing Congress has the power to do is to stop actions like this through the power of the purse."
Trump announces he's giving $1 million for House Republican campaigns
Kristi Noem's 28 year old aide spent millions of DHS $$ to buy a fleet of of vehicles with ICE's logo clearly marked on them. Now they're sitting idle because the clearly visible logo gets the trucks and agents attacked, and prevents ICE from doing stealth raids.

Tweet by Philip Proudfoot saying Switzerland stopped being neutral after condemning U.S.βIsraeli attacks on Iran as a violation of international law, quoting an Al Jazeera Breaking News headline.
A Swiss kick in the ass.
